How Does the Program Work?
Meet Monthly with a Dietitian and Doctor
You will meet with one of our registered dietitians every four weeks for a total of six nutrition counselling sessions. During these appointments, your LEAF™ dietitian will work with you to develop a nutrition plan tailored to your specific nutrition needs and then help you implement it.
At the end of each dietitian appointment, you’ll meet with your LEAF™ doctor, who will monitor your progress.

If you’re already a patient here, just call or email us to request an appointment with your LEAF™ doctor, who’ll be happy to answer all your questions about ROOT™ and help you decide if it’s the right program for you.
If you are not currently a patient here, seeing one of our doctors is as easy as having your primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) or physician specialist refer you to our clinic. We usually see new referrals within two weeks of referral, but we might be able to see you sooner depending on your availability. Most clinicians have our referral form, but just in case they don’t, you can bring them a copy or refer them to our website for them to our website so they can upload it to their electronic medical record.
